Kindred Rebinds by Kindred Legends
At Kindred Rebinds, every custom rebind is carefully handcrafted and shipped with protective packaging to help ensure your books arrive safely both to and from our studio.
Shipping Overview
Our rebind services include two-way shipping charges:
- Shipping your books to Kindred Rebinds
- Return shipping of your completed rebinds back to you
Shipping costs are calculated based on the size and weight category of your order.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
1. Rebind My Copy
For single-book custom rebinds using your own supplied book.
This shipping class covers:
- One standard-sized book
- Shipping from you to our studio
- Return shipping of your finished rebind
2. Trilogy
For custom rebind projects containing up to three books.
This shipping class covers:
- Boxed trilogy sets or three individual books
- All books are estimated on paperbacks
- Shipping from you to our studio
- Return shipping of your completed trilogy rebind set
3. 5-6 Book Series
For larger custom projects containing up to five books.
This shipping class covers:
- Larger multi-book series orders
- Shipping from you to our studio
- Return shipping of your completed rebind collection
3. 7+ Books – OVER 5KG
For larger custom projects containing up to more than 6 books AND over 5kg.
This shipping class covers:
- Larger multi-book series orders and multiple series shipped in one go
- Shipping from you to our studio
- Return shipping of your completed rebind collection
In-store pickup
Within the 4740 community – free local pick-up is available from our partners in the office at Carlyle Automatics & Vehicle Repairs.
International Shipping
At this time, Kindred Rebinds primarily ships within Australia.
If you are located internationally and wish to arrange a custom order, please contact us prior to purchasing for a quote.
Packaging Requirements
To help protect your books during transit, please:
- Package books securely with padding or bubble wrap
- Use a sturdy mailing box
- Avoid satchels or thin packaging where possible
- Ensure books are dry and clean before shipping
Kindred Rebinds is not responsible for damage caused during transit to our studio due to insufficient packaging.
Return Shipping
Completed rebinds are carefully wrapped and packaged before being returned to you. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Timeframes
Shipping times vary depending on:
- Your location
- Postal carrier timeframes
- Current studio workload
- The complexity of your custom rebind
Please note that shipping time is separate from rebind creation time.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
Once parcels have been lodged with the postal carrier (Australia post), delivery timeframes are outside our control. If your parcel is significantly delayed or appears lost, please contact us and we will assist where possible.
