With a professional background in design and print as a university qualified Graphic Designer, I approach each custom rebind as a retelling of the story’s heart and soul.
I’ve struggled to find complete or matching series of the books I love. Don’t get me started on trying to find hardbacks for the books I love. So I decided to make my own and rescue my beloved paperbacks in the process.
Kindred Rebind brings the story within to shine forth on the covering. Typography, spatial balance, and material haptics are the core of my design process.
I got tired of seeing modern books with amazing covers while my own were sad and miserable looking on my shelves. So I turned my skills to custom book rebinding and haven’t looked back.
Because at the end of the day… We all really do judge a book by its cover…
